2006 H-1B/Advanced Degrees Cap Reached on January 17, 2006

USCIS has announced that the 20,000 H-1B cap was reached on January 17, 2006 with respect to visas avilable to beneficiaries with advanced degreed awarded by U.S. universities. Employers are advised to come up with alternative strategies to keep their best and brightest H-1Bs.
