U.S. Deports 103 Pakistanis

The repatriations represent the fourth in a series of collaborations between Pakistan and the U.S. within the last year, totaling about 500 Pakistani nationals who have been deported.

BICE Begins Apprehending Certain Iraqi Nationals in the U.S.

Teams of agents from the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (BICE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) began seeking out specific Iraqi nationals unlawfully in the United States and apprehending them.

Primordialmente quiero decir a nuestros clientes que se les seguirán prestando los servicios a los que están acostumbrados en la misma oficina, que los números de los teléfonos no han cambiado y que nuestro enfoque principal es seguir mejorando la calidad de los servicios que prestamos y pronto distribuiremos la información relativa a la nueva estructura que entró en efecto el 1º de marzo cuando pasamos a formar parte del Departamento de Seguridad Nacional", explicó O’Connell.

Uruguay Terminated from Visa Waiver Program

The U.S. government recently evaluated the participation of Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Uruguay in the visa waiver program. Uruguay was removed from the VWP. Nationals of Uruguay will need a visa to enter the United States beginning April 15, 2003. Belguim, Italy and Portugal will remain in the program.
