USCIS Announces H-1B Cap Still Not Reached
On September 18, 2009, USCIS announced that approximately 46,000 H-1B visa petitions have been filed and 20,000 advanced degree H-1B petitions have been filed.
Mdivani to Lead Panel of Experts on Application of Missouri Immigration Law to Employers
In July of 2009, the Missouri government issued regulations governing the new state immigration law. Yet, employers have many unanswered questions as to how the law will apply. State Contractors in KS to Submit IRCA Certificaton
Emily Haverkamp, Immigration Attorney at the Mdivani Law Firm: All contractors for the State of Kansas are required to submit a Certification that they comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) with their contract bid. Contractors also agree to include the IRCA Certification in connection with any subcontracts under the State contract.
