USCIS Extends TN Visa and Status From One to Three Years

October 14, 2008. USCIS has announced a new regulation that extends the validity of TN Visas and Status from one to three years. Please note that extensins are not automatic, TN holders approved for one year will have to re-apply at the border or have their employer file for extension of status in the U.S. with USCIS to be eligible for a three-year TN.
